2. $3,678 — The Fingers, Isolation EP.

Punk continues to show its popularity on the auction circuit, this time in the form of a 7-inch EP on the Paradox Records label from Pittsburgh-area punk rockers The Fingers.

The record, which graded VG/VG+, has slight scuffs and minimal surface noise and is “mega rare and original,” according to the seller. It features the tracks “Isolation,” “Wanna Go” and “Work It Out.”

3. $3,605 — Georges Enesco and Celiny Chailley-Richez performing Beethoven’s Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 9, 10-inch record.

This is the first of several classical-music records to find a home in this edition of Market Watch.

This 10-inch record on Columbia France (FC 1058) was listed in Near Mint condition, with a cover to match.

4. $3,269.99 — A collection of roughly 3,000 assorted 78 RPM classical music records.

This private collection of 78s featured an assortment of 10- and 12-inch discs that were all from the same original owner, who was actively buying 78s from the 1940s to the 1960s, the seller said.

In addition to U.S. Victrola, Victor and Columbia classical discs, the collection contained “loads” of Euro pressings, one-sided Gramophone discs, white labels and test pressings, and many of the early multi-disc collections included original librettos or notes.

According to the seller, this special box set was only available for a short time before an album-only release was made. This package features all-original, intact components, which under examination appeared to be crisp, true in color and free of signs of age or handling.

6. $3,200 — Led Zeppelin, 45 RPM Boxed Set, New In Box.

More British rock, this time from Heavy Metal forefathers Led Zeppelin. According to the seller, only 150 of these boxed sets were made.
